Pros: PhotoMix is a collage maker software. One could use it to make greeting cards or a wallpaper. The process starts with selecting a set of images. Like most other such programs you could do some minimal photo processing.

There are a set of templates to choose from for the layout of the collage wants to make. There is a set of compositions available that are for 4 to 8 photos. Another set takes care of 9 or more images. Drag & drop images into place. Edit the photos if necessary and the basic collage is done. Editing includes resizing and flipping of the photos as required. For the decorations one could use borders, some clip art and text labels and so on.

A small set of borders that can be applied to the photos are available. A very slim selection of backgrounds are available too. The help cum getting started manual is adequate.

Cons: The user interface is not very intuitive, as are the controls. There are several other collage maker programs that are much more easy to use. Most of the available templates such as compositions, borders, backgrounds or even clip art are very limited in numbers.

Overall this application works alright, meets its purpose but nothing very outstanding. Overall rating is 3 stars.
